Configuring Ethernet To ICS Server on Linux Redhat 9

  1. Know Your IP Type

Before we go any further with ICS, it would be nice if we slightly know the types of IP are contained in an Ethernet network. In the network there is in say with Binary IP (BIP) and Dotted Decimal Notation Address (IPDD). What is the difference with Binner Dotted Decimal IP and IP? Actually the difference of the two above is not very far, because both are interrelated. Binary IP is an IP solution from Dot IP. Still confused with the above? Need examples? Well look below the difference of the two.
     xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx ---> Binneri IP

Every "x" above is the arrangement of numbers in which the figure was only "1” and "0 ", like this
    10000100.1011100.1111001.0000001

As you can see above, that is to say Binary IP, IP Binary normally use this computer to communicate between computers in a network, IP DOT DECIMAL just a translate for us so can more easily keep track or remember. Computers themselves have provided the name HOSTNAME, hostname itself will link to the IP address where this is necessary for ease in remembering than we should remember that sufficient numbers quite a lot. Very busy right? And how the DOT DECIMAL IP itself? Note below.
132.92.121.1 ----> IP DOT DECIMAL Translation of Binary

You see the IP above? IP is a translation into a language easily understood by humans where this IP Binary translation of the above that we have seen.

Well in addition to the BIP and IPDD we have seen above, now let's see the kind of Class IP Address, note the following

For the Class IP will be described only 3 (three) Class, where it is Class A, Class B and C to explain each Class, let's see below

    Class A:
    Total  : 126 to Class A
    Range IP : 1.xxx.yyy.zzz Until 126.xxx.yyy.zzz
Total IP : 16.777.214 IP tipe Class A
    Class B:
    Total : 16.384
    Range IP : 128.0.xxx.yyy Until 191.155.xxx.yyy
Total IP : 65.532 IP tipe Class B
    Class C:
    Total : 2.097.152
    Range IP : 192.0.0.xxx Until 223.255.255.xxx
Total IP : 254 IP tipe Class C
As you can see above this, the most common or frequently used in small-capacity Intranet network is an IP Class C.

Well I think once enough knowledge to know a little about the types of IP Address Class. This introduction will add little to our knowledge in identifying network and will spur us to learn more especially to be a Hacker! Should be very aware of this problem, it also lets you in moving to the next section :)
